President al-Assad to New Government: Social Aspect Is the Basis for Political Stability and Security

jouhina news, President al-Assad on Tuesday stressed that the social aspect is the basis for political stability and security. Addressing the new government, the President added "We are here to work… we have to possess an economic mentality with a clear vision". "Aspirations are big and they are legitimate demands for citizens even they are greater than capabilities, but when we transparently communicate with citizens, the citizens will understand and support us," President al-Assad said. The President added "As I have always said the problem is communication with the citizen. When we are not communicating, we are not conveying information. We don't explain so the citizen does not know what are the capabilities, therefore the minister or the government will not be evaluated objectively." President al-al-Assad said that the agricultural sector is strategic and no other sector in Syria can be compared to it since the large part of Syrian society lives and works in agriculture and a great part of the Syrian economy is affected by agriculture and the annual seasons. The President underlined that we live a state of real war, and we live a state of war, all our polices, directives and all sectors will be directed in order to gain victory in this war. "Subsidies will continue.. we didn't and will not give it up. Subsidies' mechanism should be improved unless; it will be a gap for corruption or it can be exploited by corruption..We should find an automatic and smart way for subsidies such as the smart card or any other mechanism," President al-Assad said.
