Economic Talks between Syria and Russia continue in Different Sectors

Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Minister of Interior Trade and the Protection of Consumer Qadri Jamil said that viewpoints between Syria and Russia are identical and close on the way of how to solve the crisis in Syria.
"The talks held between the Syrian delegation with the Russian side concentrated on industry, oil, gas, health, medicine and the higher education," Jamil said in a speech to Voice of Russia Radio.
The Minister added that through its economic policy, the Syrian government seeks to have its own financial system which is independent form the international system and to provide safe transport routes for the Russian and Syrian goods.
He described the US stance towards the crisis in Syria as "hypocrite" as it calls for a political solution and it obstructs this solution at the same time. "The US is financing and arming the opposition in order to continue the crisis, bloodshed and to cancel Syria's resistant role," Jamil said.
He added that Russia played an important role through its stances against the foreign intervention in Syria's domestic affairs, so did China.
Earlier, the economic talks between Syria and Russia continued today in Moscow on the level of Ministers in different economic cooperation sectors between the two countries.
The discussions were held in the fields of transport, oil, energy, trade, industry, agriculture, health and higher education
