Security restored to Assal al-Ward, Housh Arab in al-Qalamoun‎

Units of the Armed Forces restored security and stability to the town of Assal al-Ward in al-Qalamoun in Damascus Countryside , a military source announced .

The source said large numbers of terrorists were killed in the town, while the rest managed to run away.

Waving the national flags, residents of Assal al-Ward greeted the army members with flowers and rice.

Later, a military source told SANA that army units, in cooperation with National defense members restored security and stability to Housh Arab town after killing large number of terrorists, destroying their weapons and ammunition.

The source added that the town's residents received soldiers of the Army with flowers and rice to express appreciation for the army's sacrifices
