Update 11-Army units crush more dens for terrorists, including for ISIS organization

Units of the army and armed forces crushed Tuesday a number of terrorist organizations’ dens and hideouts, including for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), killing more of them.

Aleppo

An army unit established control over a number of blocks in Jamy’at al-Zahraa neighborhood in Aleppo and killed and wounded a number of terrorists

A military source told SANA that Army units, in cooperation with local defense groups, established control over the areas of Deir al-Zaitoun, Kifr Touna, Bashkouy, Tal Misibin, Hardtnin and Ritian in Aleppo’s northern countryside and killed and injured large numbers of terrorists

Other units of the army and armed forces killed and injured a number of terrorists in attacks against their dens and hideouts in Karfour, Mallah farms, Castilo, Nahnah roundabout, Kafar Hamra, Bani- Zaid, Maaret Arteeq, Jibes Souk, Attareb, Zerbe, Anadan, Hayyan, Aleppo old city, Allayramoun, Al-Rashdeen, Handarat camp, Hreitan, Maarest Khan, Bayanoun, and the crossroads of Marja in Aleppo and its countryside, and destroy a number of their vehicles.

Damascus Countryside

The army destroyed a tunnel in Harasta and killed 4 terrorists in Erbin, and also destroyed a vehicle and killed non-Syrian terrorists, a number of them were experts in manufacturing rockets and explosives, among the dead were the Saudi Jasim Awad al-Shibili, and Ali Bakkar, Mohammad Auda, Ali Raslan and Abdul-Karim al-Tawil, SANA reporter said.

Elsewhere, the army clashed with terrorists in Jobar neighborhood and killed and injured a number of them.

Meanwhile, Army destroyed terrorists’ hideouts and concentrations in Ras al-Ma’ara, al-Jibba and near al-Mishrfa in al-Qalamoun, killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition.

In Zabadani city, an army unit killed terrorists Mohammad Abdul-Rahman Awwad and Ali Mohammad al-Laham.

Quneitra

Army units killed many of terrorist organizations’ members and injured others in al-Hamidiyeh village to the west of the southern province of Quneitra, which is considered a major supply route between the terrorists and the Israeli enemy, according to a military source.

SANA quoted the source as saying that other army units continued hunting down terrorists in Um Batina and Mas’hara villages which extend towards the northwestern countryside of Daraa province.

Many of the terrorists were left dead and others injured, while their ammunition and weapons were destroyed.

Another Army unit directly targeted terrorist organizations’ gatherings to the north of Syriatel communication tower in Rasm al-Khawalid in Khan Arnaba area, inflicting losses upon the terrorists’ ranks.

Elsewhere, a unit of the army and armed forces killed many terrorists in al-Mesherfe at the surrounding

of Om al-Ezam in the countryside of the province.

Damascus Countryside

Army units carried out several operations against the armed terrorist groups in a number of areas in Damascus Countryside on Tuesday, killing scores of them and destroying their weaponry and ammunition.

A unit of the army and armed forces carried out a special operation against takfiri terrorist organizations in Attshan village to the north of Hama city, killing a number of their members, injuring others and destroying their ammunition and weaponry, a military source said.

The source told SANA that more terrorists were killed, others were injured and their equipment was destroyed in al-Latamina, northwest of Hama city.

Homs

An army unit killed members of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist organization while they were stealing oil in Palmyra countryside, a source in the central Homs province told SANA.

The source said a group of ISIS terrorists was stealing oil out of a pipe line in al-Dawarreh area, 20 km north of Palmyra in the countryside of Homs, when an army unit targeted it, killing all of the terrorists.

The operation came one day after an army unit repelled and foiled an attack which terrorists from ISIS organization launched on Ark gas field northeast of Palmyra.

Meanwhile, an army unit destroyed gatherings of ISIS terrorists, inflicting heavy losses upon them, in Jazal area, 50 km northwest of Palmyra, according to a military source.

The source told SANA that other army units carried out many operations against terrorists’ dens in Masaada, al-Msheirfeh al-Shamaliyeh, Rahoum and the area between Rahoum and Onq al-Hawa, killing many terrorists and injuring others.

It added that the army also eliminated a number of terrorists after destroying their dens in Salam Sharqi and in the surroundings of industrial school in al-Rastan and Um Sharshouh in Homs countryside.

Lattakia

Units of the army and armed forces killed a number of terrorists and destroyed the weapons and ammunition when targeting them in the villages of Khan al-Jouz, al-Wadi, al-Kiyala and Wadi al-Sheikhan in the northern countryside of Lattakia, a military source said.

The source also told SANA that another army unit carried out a special operation in which it targeted dens and gatherings of terrorists in Kinsabba village, 50 km north of Lattakia city.

The operation resulted in the killing of many terrorists, while others were left wounded.

Daraa

An army unit destroyed a depot containing weapons and ammunition in al-Harak in the countryside of the southern Daraa province, killing all terrorists inside it.

A military source said that army units directed blows to the terrorists’ gatherings in the villages of Aqraba and Kafar Nasij to the northeast of Daraa, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists.

Army units continued their wide operations in Jaidour Horan interlaced with al-Quneitra countryside.

On Attman-Dael-Tafas- al-Mzairib axis to the northeast of Daraa, army units intensified their fierce blows on the terrorists’ dens, killing many of them.

In al-Lajat area, an army unit destroyed a number of vehicles, leaving all the terrorists aboard killed.

Many terrorists were killed or injured after their gatherings were crunched in al-Kark al-Sharqi town to the east of Daraa city.

In Daraa al-Balad neighborhood, army units carried out intensive and accurate operations, where many terrorists were killed according to the source. It added that the military operations in al-Nazeheen Camp and al-Manshia neighborhood are continued, eliminating many terrorists.

The terrorist organizations, on their social networking websites, admitted the death of many terrorists including Abdu al-Maf’alani in al-Sheikh Meskin.

Idleb

Units of the army and armed forces on targeted terrorists ‘dens and hideouts in Abu al-Dohour area in Idleb countryside, killing all terrorists inside and destroying all weapons and ammunition hidden in.

A military source told SANA that army units targeted dens and gatherings of terrorist organizations in al-Hamidia, Tal Salom, Um Jrein and to the east of Abu al-Dohour in Idleb countryside.

It added that the army killed a number of terrorists in al-Shughre, Dweir al-Akrad and al-Phaleen factory in Idleb countryside, destroying several vehicles.

Earlier, army units inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in the countryside of the province, whereas residents of Jabal al-Dweila clashed with terrorists linked to Jabhat al-Nusra after demonstrations against the atrocities committed by the terrorists.

Hasaka

Army units directed intensive artillery strikes against gatherings of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist organization in the western countryside of Hasaka northeastern province, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

A source at the province told SANA that many ISIS terrorists were killed or injured when an army unit targeted their gatherings in Mafraq al-Seddiq village, 40 km to the west of Hasaka city.

The source added that army units inflicted heavy losses upon ISIS terrorists in al-Haouz and Tal Majdel villages, where many terrorists were killed or injured.
