Law on establishing penal courts in all provinces

President Bashar al-Assad on Thursday issued the law No. /15/for the year 2015 on establishing penal courts in all the Syrian provinces.

The courts will be specialized in considering the financial and economic lawsuits.

Minister of Justice Najim Hamad al- Ahmed stressed the importance of the law as Syria has witnessed over the past decade a notable economic activity that entails finding new mechanisms and regulations to confront the financial and economic crimes through a series of objective and procedural rules that would achieve the economic security.

Minister al-Ahmed told SANA that the current circumstances have created new developments that require the reconstruction and issuing new legislations.
