Army inflicts heavy losses upon terrorists in several areas

The army units continued targeting terrorist organizations’ hotbeds and positions in many areas across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.

Daraa

An army unit targeted Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists’ hotbeds and its supply routes in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood in the southern province of Daraa.

A military source told SANA Sunday that the army operations resulted in the destruction of 3 vehicles with all weapons and ammunition inside them and the killing and injuring of a number of terrorists on their board.

Meanwhile, terrorist organizations admitted, on their social media sites, receiving big losses in personnel and equipment and the killing of a number of their members, among them terrorists Adnan Zakariya al-Masri and Anas al-Houri.

Sweida

The army units bombarded Islamic State in Iraq ans Syria (ISIS) terrorists’  movements and gatherings in the village of Sa’ad and Wadi al-Gharib in the Eastern part of al-Badia in the southern province of Sweida.

A military source told SANA Sunday that scores of ISIS terrorists were killed and injured and  their weapons and ammunition were destroyed .

The units, aided by the popular defense groups, destroyed ISIS terrorists’ supply routes.

Damascus countryside

More building blocks under army and Lebanese resistance’s control

Units of the army backed by the Lebanese Resistance on Sunday achieved new advances in the war against Takfiri terrorist organizations through establishing full control on a number of new building blocks in al-Zabadani City , 45 km to the northeast of Damascus.

Field sources told SANA that a unit of the army in cooperation with the Lebanese Resistance carried out a number of special operations, establishing full control on al-Jisr Mosque and a number of the surrounding blocks, in addition to inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorist organizations in the arms and personnel.

Later on the day, the sources told SANA that the army and the Lebanese resistance advanced further in the city, taking control of the al-Aira Square and a number of blocks in al-Nabou’ neighborhood, adding that the terrorists are now pinned down in scattered points in the city.

An army unit carried out intensive strikes against the gatherings of “Jaish al-Islam”in the western farms of Douma city in the Eastern Ghouta in Damascus Countryside.

Field sources told SANA that the strikes left dozens of terrorists killed, injured many others who infiltrated on Friday towards Makalia al-Smadi and al-Mashtal in the western farms of Douma, destroying their weapons and ammunition.

Yahiya Hatem, Mohamed Arbash, Adnan al-Wazir, Abad al-Rahman al-Saour, Obada Shamshm, Salah Tfor and Mahmoud Hijazi were identified among those killed.

The sources added that a state of panic prevails among terrorists, causing many of them to withdraw as sharp differences surfaced between terrorist groups after the heavy losses they suffered on Sunday due to army strikes.

The Army achieved new progress towards the Western part of clashes area.

The sources also denied news published by terrorist organizations on social media sites about terrorists controlling the Women Prison at Damascus Central Prison in Adra.

An Army unit destroyed a terrorists’ den in the area surrounding the Municipality Building in Douma city, killing more than 20 terrorists and injuring many others, including Mohamed al-Jassim, Adnan Abdul-Haq and Hassan al-Smadi.

Many terrorists were killed during an army operation against a terrorists’ hideout in al-Ajami neighborhood in Harasta, among them: Zehreddin Halima, Ahmad Halima, Abdul-Fattah Najar and Ziad al-Da’di.

Homs

Units of the army and armed forces backed by the popular defense groups on Sunday  killed scores of ISIS terrorists in Palmyra countryside, foiling a terrorist attack against  Maksar al-Husan village in the eastern countryside of the central Homs province.

An army unit carried out an operation against dens and positions of ISIS terrorists at entrance of al-Zakara valley in Palmyra countryside, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their arms and ammunition.

In Jib al-Jarrah area, 73 km to the east of Homs City, a unit of the army clashed with an ISIS terrorist group that infiltrated from the axes of the villages of Unq al-Hawa, Rahhoum and Um Sahrij towards the village of Maksar al-Husan.

A number of terrorists were killed in the clashes and their arms and ammunition were destroyed.

Army units supported by air force killed members of ISIS in Tadmour (Palmyra) and al-Qaryatayn in the eastern countryside of Homs.

Lattakia

Army units, in cooperation with popular defense forces, targeted with concentrated strikes terrorists’ dens and gatherings in al-Zoik, al-Shmisia, Katf al-Roman and al-Maroniat villages in the northern countryside of Lattakia province.

Field sources told SANA reporter that Army strikes resulted in the killing of 19 terrorists including Muhanad Bassir and Mahmud  Kanaan, in addition to destroying mortar launcher in al-Noba Mountain and two heavy machineguns in al-Zoik and Katf al-Rman villages.

Army units in cooperation with popular defense groups clashed with terrorists of “Jabahat al- Nusra” while they were attempting to attack Jub al-Ghar axis in al-Nabi Younis area.

Dozens of terrorists were killed and injured during the clashes and two vehicles loaded with weapons and ammunition were destroyed.

Army units also targeted terrorists’ hideouts and concentrations in Kanasba, kayali, al-Zarzour, Salma, Ein al-Hoor, Katf al-Safh and Jub al-Ahmar, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their weaponry and munitions.

Aleppo

Terrorists’ dens and vehicles destroyed, scores of ISIS terrorists killed

Units of the army and armed forces destroyed vehicles and ammunition of Terrorist organizations and killed scores of their members in the northern Aleppo province.

In the southeastern countryside of the province, a unit of the army carried out a concentrated operation against dens and positions of terrorist organizations in the surroundings of al-Sfera town, Hwaijina, and al-Jabboul village, 40 km from Aleppo city.

A cache of ammunition, a large number of vehicles, an armored vehicle and a heavy machinegun were destroyed in the operation and scores of terrorists were killed and others were injured.

A unit of the army also destroyed a machinegun-equipped vehicle belonging to the terrorists and killed all terrorists onboard in al-Amiryia village in the southeastern countryside.

Units of the army also carried out concentrated strikes against positions and hotbeds of the ISIS terrorists in the surroundings of the Air Force Academy and Jib al-Safa village in Kwaires area, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their vehicles, arms and ammunition.

To the south and southwest of the countryside of Aleppo City, units of the army killed scores of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and injured others and destroyed their arms and ammunition in precise operations against their dens and positions in the village of Blas al-Zirbieh, al-Wadihi, al-Subaihyia, and Khan al-Asal.

Army air force destroyed a convoy of terrorists’ vehicles in addition to two armored vehicles in the areas of Ein al-Thabbet and al-Salihin in Aleppo countryside.

Earlier in the day, a unit of the army carried out intensive strikes against hotbeds of the terrorists in Anadan city, 12 km to the north of Aleppo city, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others, in addition to destroying their arms and ammunition.

A number of terrorists were also killed and their dens were destroyed in precise operations carried out by the army units against their dens and positions in the neighborhoods of Karm Maisar, al-Sheikh Lutfi, al-Rashidin 4, Bani Zaid, al-Layramoun, Jam’ayiat al-Zahra, Bostan al-Qasir and Bostan al-Basha.

Meanwhile, civil sources stressed that scores of ISIS terrorists were killed and others were injured after the blast of a car bomb while they were planting explosives inside it near /Sheikh/ gas station in Manbij city, 130 km to the northeast of Aleppo.

Hasaka

Popular defense groups destroyed two gatherings for ISIS terrorists in the area surrounding al-Mjeibra village in the eastern countryside of Hasaka city.

A source in Hasaka province told SANA reporter that popular defense groups clashed with ISIS terrorists who had been blocking roads to the east of al-Mjeibra village and destroyed a vehicle for them with the arms and ammunition it was carrying.

At least seven terrorists were killed and others were injured during the clashes.

Idleb

The army’s Air Force targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Arnaba , Mhmbl, Maaret al-Numan and Khan Shikhon in the southern and southwestern countryside of Idleb province.

The army’s airstrikes also targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Abu al-Duhour area to the southeast of Idleb city, killing many terrorists and destroying their vehicles.

Hama

In the neighboring Hama province, the Air Force targeted gatherings and hideouts of “Jabhat al-Nusra” in al-Mansora village, which resulted in killing many terrorists and destroying their vehicles and weapons.

Many terrorists were killed, others were injured, and a number of their vehicles and dens were destroyed during a series of concentrated airstrikes in Attshan, al-Lahaya, Kafr Zita, Jnan, and the area surrounding Morek in the northern countryside of Hama.

Army units destroyed terrorists’ dens and vehicles in al-Latamina and al-Arbain town in the northern countryside of the province.
