jouhina news, Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Dr. Mohammad Zafer Mihbek on Sunday discussed with the board of the Exports Development and Promotion Agency means to benefit from standing economic relations to find exportation opportunities for Syrian products and build strong relations with businessmen in them, particularly among Syrian expatriates. Mihbek underlined the Agency's role in helping exporters and supporting national exports, stressing the need to develop the Agency's work in light of the current economic conditions, particularly in insuring exports and reducing risks during exportation. He called for implementing quality standards for exportation companies to serve as guidelines to help these companies develop their activities. Mihbek also called for establishing a bank for funding foreign trade tor revitalize this sector and save exportation companies the trouble of finding sources to fun their contracts and deals. He touched on the importance of benefiting from expatriate Syrian businessmen and establishing an office to boost relations with them.
