Spokesman for the Russian Presidency Dmitry Peskov said the Syrians are the only side to determine the future of their country

In statements made on Monday, Peskov dismissed as baseless media reports on secret negotiation on Syria between Russia and the western countries, adding that Moscow had repeatedly said that it does not seek regimes’ change.

He stressed that the Kremlin considers imposing solutions on the Syrians as unacceptable, highlighting the firm Russian stances on Syria and considering criticizing those stances is a habit for some countries.
