Maronite Patriarch Bechara Boutros al-Rahi affirmed on Sunday that prayers today are held for Syria with all its spectrums and for the sake of the kidnapped, hoping they would return safe to their families.
“We always pray for peace in Syria and all the region and for the victims, martyrs and the return of the abducted bishops of Aleppo,’ Al-Rahi, leading a holy mass in the Cathedral of Saint Mary of Tartous in the presence of Patriarch John X of Antioch and All the East for Rome Orthodox said.
He added that heroism is having peace, amity and the respect for the other, not in the war, hoping security and stability would be restored to Aleppo soon.
Holy See Ambassador to Syria and Tartous Governor attended the mass.
