Consultative Council to Promote Syrian Exports Formed

jouhina news, Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Dr. Mohammad Zafer Mihbek, issued a decision on forming a consultative council to handle issues related to the situation of the Syrian economy, particularly promoting Syrian exports and finding new markets. The Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade chairs the council which will be convened once a month. The council includes a number of advisors, experts, representatives of federations of the Syrian chambers of commerce and industry, the Syrian Exporters Union, Damascus and Aleppo chambers of industry and commerce. In the same context, the minister formed a committee at the Ministry whose task is to receive the complaints of citizens and economic and trade figures. The committee will submit a weekly report on the complaints and objections and means of handling them.
