A million ton of wheat roughly marketed in harvest season

Head of the Agricultural Production at Ministry of Agriculture Abdul Moen Qadamani, said that the amount of wheat marketed to the General Establishments for Trading and Grain Processing and Seeds' production has reached 907143 tons and the amount of barely has reached at 114049 tons.

In a statement to SANA, Qadamani clarified that 730528 tons of wheat were marketed to the General Establishment for Trading and Grain Processing while 176615tons were marketed to the Establishment of Seeds' production.

The grand total of the marketed wheat from the provinces is: Hasaka Province: 641638 tons, Hama : 171922 tons, Homs: 17983 tons, Tartous: 5737 tons, Idleb: 15102 tons, Daraa: 23717 tons, Deir-Ezzor: 22768 tons, Damascus Countryside: 2203 tons, Sweida: 1287 tons, Lattakia 495 tons, Aleppo 490tons and Raqqa: 3801 tons.

Qadamani added that the grand production of barley to the Establishment of Grain Processing is 98699 tons, and to the Establishment of Seed Multiplication is 15350 tons. The grand marketed amount from each Province is: Hasaka 94348 tons, Idleb: 1311 tons, Hama: 17890 tons, Homs 370 tons, Daraa: 117 tons and Aleppo 13 tons.
