The army continued to cleanse the country of the

Takfiri terrorist organizations, carrying out concentrated blows against their positions and hideouts across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.

 

Daraa

 

The army units killed 6 self-claimed leaders of the Israeli-linked terrorist organizations in Daraa province and destroyed their vehicles and supply routes, , a military source told SANA Sunday.

 

The army units carried out precise operations against the terrorist organizations’ positions and movement axes in the village of al-Noaimeh, and several areas in Daraa al-Balad in the countryside of the southern province of Daraa.

 

A military source told SANA Sunday that the army operations resulted in the destruction of a number of armored vehicles, machineguns, weapons and ammunition.

 

The source added that a number of terrorists were killed during the army operations among them Mohammad Shlash, the leader of the so-called Liwa al-Ansar, Ahmad Abu Jaish, the leader of the so-called Liwa Tafas Tanks, Amin al-Abboud, nicknamed “al-Laham”, the leader of the private operations of the so-called “Falloujet Horan squad” and the self-claimed leaders Hussein al-Joufeh, Diyaa al-Zitawi, Raghb Bashir al-Bakirat and the Jordanian terrorist Hamad Mowafq al-Ersawi.

 

Meanwhile, the terrorist organizations admitted on their social media websites the killing of terrorists al-Abboud and al-Zitawi.

 

Two cars for terrorists were destroyed; another one is damaged with all Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists on board in an army unit’s operations against their movements in al-Kark al- Sharqi town in the eastern countryside of the province, according to the source.

 

Damascus Countryside

 

Army units aided by the Lebanese resistance established full control over a number of building blocks in al-Zabadani city after destroying a number of the Takfiri terrorist organizations’ positions there.

 

The army units and the Lebanese resistance carried out precise operations against Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and the so-called Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement, establishing full control over a number of building blocks in the western neighborhood of the city.

 

Field Sources told SANA reporter that the army and Lebanese Resistance established control over 15 building blocks from Barada roundabout towards al-Jesr square in the south western part of the city after killing a number of terrorists.

 

The source added that army operations resulted in the killing and injury of a number of terrorists and demolishing of their weapons and ammunition.

 

The army units aided by the Lebanese resistance continued advance towards the city center , according to the source.

 

On a relevant note, an army unit uncovered a workshop for manufacturing explosive devices and assorted rocket shells while combing the surroundings of al-Corniche roundabout in al-Zabadani.

 

Later, a military source told SANA that an army unit uncovered a 600-meters tunnel dug 17-meters deep with several branches and equipped with lighting and ventilation in Jobar area in eastern Damascus Countryside.

 

Hama

 

The Army’s air force eliminated many terrorists and destroyed their vehicles during airstrikes against their dens and gatherings in al-Mansoura village, Tal Wasit and Tal Zajram in the northwest of Hama countryside.

Homs

 

Army units, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, thwarted a terrorist organization’s attempt to attack Tasnin village in the northern countryside of Homs province, a military source told SANA on Sunday.

 

A number of terrorists were killed while the rest were escaped and big amounts of arms, ammunition and vehicles were destroyed.

 

Meanwhile, Takfiri terrorist organizations admitted on their pages of the social networking websites that a number of their members were killed among them the self calimed leaders Abdullah Injari,Abu Abdo AL-Sudeis and others.

 

Units of the army and the armed forces also killed scores of terrorists form the ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations in different areas in the northern and eastern countryside of Palmyra.

 

The army carried out a special operation against a hotbed of the ISIS terrorists on the western outskirts of Palmyra city, killing at least 13 of its members, among them a field commander called Majed al-Kamsh.

 

Army units are continuing their military operations which started at the beginning of the last month in cooperation with the popular defense groups.

 

The operations on Sunday morning focused on the eastern parts of al-Maqale’a in Palmyra and the entrance of al-Masek valley, the east of al-Bayarat and the surroundings of Jazal gas field.

 

Many ISIS terrorists were killed and a number of their machinegun-equipped vehicles were destroyed on different axes in Palmyra countryside.

 

Meanwhile, an army unit destroyed dens of the ISIS terrorists in precise operations in al-Qarayatain city.

 

In the eastern countryside, units of the army and the armed forces backed by the army air force destroyed dens of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and of the so-called “Homs legion” in the villages of al-Ghajar, Um Sharshouh, Borj Qa’ai and al-Rastan City, killing scores of terrorists and injuring others.

 

Aleppo

 

Units of the army and the armed forces on Sunday killed scores of ISIS terrorists in intensive operations against their dens and positions in the eastern countryside of the northern Aleppo province.

 

A number of ISIS terrorists were killed and others were injured in addition to destroying their arms and ammunition in the village of Arbid, and Kwaires Sharqi, 52 km to the east of Aleppo City.

 

An army unit carried out intensive strikes against hotbeds and positions of ISIS Takfiri terrorists in the surroundings of the Air Force Academy, 40 km to the east of Aleppo City.

 

A number of terrorists’ vehicles were destroyed in the strikes along with all arms and ammunition inside them.

 

Meanwhile, Takfiri terrorist organizations admitted on their webpages that a number of their members were killed.

 

Idleb

 

The army’s air force launched airstrikes on positions and supply routes of the terrorist organizations in the villages of Mhambel, Marj al-Zohour, Qaqour, Orum al-Jouz and Jisr al-Shughour in the countryside of the northern Idleb province.

 

Terrorists of the so-called “Jaish al-Fateh” were killed and their vehicles loaded with machine guns and other weapons were destroyed in the air strikes.

 

In the northern countryside, the army air strikes targeted dens of terrorists in Binnesh, Taaoum,Taftanaz, and Ram Hamdan, leaving many of the terrorists dead.

 

Meanwhile, local sources told SANA by phone that the popular defense groups in the besieged cities of al-Fouaa and Kefraya in the northern countryside of Idleb destroyed two vehicles of the terrorists with two rockets in the area to the east of al-Fouaa.

 

The sources stressed that a terrorist group was beleaguered near al-Swaghiyeh area where the vehicles were destroyed.

 

In the same context, the locals and the national defense groups repelled terrorists’ attack near an army checkpoint in the area, killing a number of them.

 

The army’s air force also killed many terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and other organizations in intensive strikes against their dens and positions in Um Jerin village and Abu al-Dohour town, 50 km to the southeast of Idleb city.

 

Many terrorists were also killed in a series of army air strikes in the villages of Kinsafra, Bsames, Shaghourit, Hazarin, Arnaba, al-Hamdiyeh and Maaret al-Nouman in the southern countryside of the province.

 

Quneitra

 

Units of the army and armed forces destroyed supply routes of terrorist organizations in Jibbat al-Khashab in the countryside of the southern Quneitra province.

 

The army targeted dens and gatherings of terrorist organizations in Rasm al-Tahin village on the border between the provinces of Quneitra and Damascus Countryside, leaving many terrorists dead.

 

Army units also targeted terrorists in Ofania and al-Hurriyeh villages, with the latter being a supply route for Jabhat al-Nusra, inflicting losses in personnel and equipment.

 

Sweida

 

An army unit launched intensive strikes against ISIS’ dens after monitoring their movements from Khirba and Tal Saad towards Tal al-Buthaina in the northeast countryside of Sweida.

 

The strikes resulted in the death of many terrorists and the destruction of a vehicle equipped with heavy machine gun and amounts of weaponry and ammunition.

 

Lattakia

 

Units of the army and armed forces in cooperation with the popular defense groups on Sunday continued their operations against dens and positions of Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations in the northern countryside of the coastal Lattakia province.

 

Field sources told SANA reporter that units of the army carried out intensive strikes against dens of the terrorist organizations in the villages of Tartyah and Dwairka and in Salma town in the northern countryside of the province.

 

The sources added that a car equipped with a heavy machinegun and a motorcycle were destroyed in the strikes, and three terrorists were killed and 5 others were injured.
