Two civilians killed in terrorist attacks on Harasta Suburb and neighborhoods in Damascus

Two civilians were killed in terrorist mortar and rocket attacks carried out by terrorists from “Islam Army” terror organization on Harasta Suburb in Damascus Countryside and residential neighborhoods in Damascus.

A police source said that terrorists fired 8 shells which landed in Blocks B1 and B2 in Harasta Suburb, claiming two civilians’ lives and injuring two others, in addition to causing material damage to homes and private properties.

Four more shells fired by terrorists fell in Mazzeh 86 Jabal and al-Abbasiyeen neighborhoods in Damascus city, causing only material damage, according to the source.

The source added that 5 other shells landed in al- Kassaa and Bab Toma neighborhoods, injuring 8 citizens.

The attack also caused material damage to a building and number of cars in the place.

2 citizens were injured when 2 rocket shells fell in the area surrounding al-Sibki and al-Jahiz parks.
