Damascus Chamber of Industry: Next Stage Requires Concentrating on Economy, Industry

jouhina news, Damascus Chamber of Industry on Monday said that more attention should be paid to the national economy in the future. In a statement, the chamber said that the changes in the government indicate that there is great care paid to the national economy, including the industrial sector, in the next stage. The chamber considered that creating the positions of Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection is an opportunity to achieve balance between the prices of the local merchandises and the citizen' s income. The chamber hoped that creating the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade will help open more foreign markets for the Syrian products. The chamber stressed the need for reconsidering all bilateral agreements with the aim of adopting the agreements which profit the national economy.
